The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on large transnational companies to reconsider their decision to continue their activities in the Russian Federation, and governments and consumers around the world to boycott their products.

According to the list of 50 such companies published on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, companies in the financial, hotel, automotive, tire, tobacco, retail, pharmaceutical and a number of other sectors continue their work in the Russian Federation.

"Every product that a company supplies, manufactures or sells on the Russian market contributes to the military budget, which has always been a priority for the Russian government over any basic needs of its own citizens," the report says.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that regardless of the size of investments or Russia's share in the global portfolio, companies that comply with the standards and values of environmental, social and corporate governance do not have the moral right to continue operating in a country that commits massive war crimes on the territory of another country.

"During the two weeks of unprovoked military aggression by Russia, more than 50 children have already died as a result of air strikes and shootings," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reminded.
