Advisor to the Head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podoliak expressed hope that Russia will keep its promises and allow the evacuation of the population from Sumy, as well as send humanitarian aid to the city through the "green corridor," which should start working on Tuesday.

"Let us try again… We agreed on a humanitarian corridor for the city of Sumy. From Sumy - civilians, to Sumy - humanitarian goods. We believe that 'the authors of the corridors to a country where no one wants to evacuate' will not close the door and no one will be hurt," Podoliak said on Twitter.
