Ukraine's SBU Security Service has reported the arrest of a spotter who directed a Russian Kalibr cruise missile strike on the Ivano-Frankivsk airfield, the SBU Facebook page said on Thursday.

"The saboteur arrived in the city a day before the large-scale invasion of Ukraine. He settled near the airport. And on the eve of the Russian missile and bomb strikes, he transmitted information to the enemy about the location of the target. As a result of the bombing, the airport's infrastructure was destroyed. The saboteur reported back to the invaders when he helped them direct fire to another strategic target," the statement said.

In Kyiv, SBU agents neutralized an enemy sabotage group whose main task was to collect data on the location of military units in Kyiv. The surviving saboteurs were handed over to law enforcement officers.

In addition, a local resident was detained in Zaporizhia. He was taking pictures of military fortifications in the city for money and sent the data to his Russian masters.

SBU agents also exposed two traitors among officials of Smila in Cherkasy region.

"The officials were planning to switch allegiance to the enemy and to help the invaders. Now an investigation is underway. The suspects face 15 years in prison... High treason is one of the most serious crimes. And every traitor will be punished!"
