Kuleba: anti-tank weapons, air defense systems, ammunition, cars, body armor, fuel, weapons, ammunition arrives in Ukraine

Anti-tank weapons, air defense equipment, ammunition for all types of weapons and artillery, vehicles, bulletproof vests, fuel, dozens of weapons and ammunition items have arrived in Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

"As I promised you, every new day brings new sanctions, weapons and isolation of Russia. Anti-tank weapons, air defense equipment, ammunition for all types of weapons and artillery, vehicles, bulletproof vests, fuel, dozens of weapons positions and ammunition have already arrived. There will be more and more. The main thing is that we stand strong and hold Kyiv," Kuleba wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

The minister informed that U.S. President Biden spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at night and decided to immediately allocate $600 million to Ukraine, of which $250 million for general assistance and $350 million for military assistance. In addition, the White House asked Congress for consent to allocate $ 6.4 billion in support of Ukraine, of which $3.5 billion is for defense.

"Putin and Lavrov personally have been hit by EU sanctions. The United States and others will soon do so. A new package of sanctions is already in the works. Russian banks, companies, goods are literally being thrown off the shelves, financial systems, stock exchanges. Russia is being deprived of sports and entertainment events – the Champions League and Eurovision. This wave should grow like a tsunami. And we are working on it," Kuleba said.

According to him, a number of countries have already closed the airspace for Russian airlines, and today there will be even more of them.

"The world's exiles will have to either not fly at all, or fly around half the world. Several EU countries have already stopped issuing visas to Russians," the Foreign Minister said.

Kuleba drew attention to the fact that in the UN Security Council, when trying to pass a resolution, Russia was desperately trying not to be the only country that would accept a veto.

"It failed. Even close friends refrained from openly taking the side of Russia," he said.

The minister said that diplomacy maintains full mobilization and works around the clock military mode to make concrete big decisions of partners.

"The invincibility of Ukraine hourly wins over to our side more and more partners of the international coalition in defense of Ukraine and the world. The coalition is becoming larger, stronger and more determined. I thank every fighter of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, including every civilian who took up arms to defend our cities, our land. We will not let you down," Kuleba said.
