Zelensky continues to lead presidential rating in Ukraine with support of quarter of voters – poll

The presidential rating is headed by current head of the Ukrainian state Volodymyr Zelensky, and if the elections were held in the near future, he would be supported by 26.2% of those who intend to vote and made their choice, according to a poll conducted from January 2 to January 4 by the Rating sociological group.

According to the poll's press release published on Tuesday on the Rating website, some 16.6% of respondents would vote for leader of the Opposition Platform - For Life party Yuriy Boiko, while 13.3% of the respondents for leader of the European Solidarity party, fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, some 10.5% for leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko.

At the same time, some 6.4% of respondents are ready to vote for leader of the Strength and Honor party, Ihor Smeshko, some 6.1% for former prime minister, leader of the Ukrainian Strategy party, Volodymyr Groysman, some 4.7% for leader of the Radical Party Oleh Liashko, some 4.1% for showman, presenter and volunteer Serhiy Prytula, some 2.6% for leader of the Svoboda party Oleh Tiahnybok and 2.3% of the respondents for Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Respondents represented the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas. The sample is representative by age, gender and type of settlement. Sample population was 2,500 respondents. Survey method was CATI (computer-assisted telephone interviews), based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The error of the representativeness of the survey with a confidence level of 0.95 was no more than 2.0%.
