Ukraine records 6,088 COVID-19 infections, 102 deaths in 24 hours – NSDC

A total of 6,088 new cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of Sunday morning, October 25, and 1,753 people recovered, 102 patients died, according to data on the website of the National Security and Defense Council's (NSDC) coronavirus pandemic monitoring system.

A day earlier, on October 24, 7,014 new COVID-19 cases were recorded, 2,177 people recovered, 125 patients died. On October 23, a record number of cases of COVID-19 infection per day was set since the beginning of the pandemic – 7,517, on October 22 there were 7,053 cases, and on October 21 there were 6,719 infected.

The number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic on Sunday morning was 343,498 people, 6,391 people died from COVID-19 and 141,508 recovered.

Now in Ukraine, 195,599 people are sick with COVID-19, which are 4,233 more than the day before.

The largest number of detected COVID-19 cases over the past day was recorded in Kharkiv (660), Zhytomyr (440), Lviv (405), Zaporizhia (402) regions, Kyiv city (359), as well as in Odesa (340) and Ivano-Frankivsk (308) regions.

Over the past day, 5,877 COVID-19 suspected cases were registered.
