Ukraine to take part in Nov sessions of Conference of States Parties to Convention against using chemical weapons

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has formed a delegation to attend the 23rd session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction and in the fourth special session of this Conference.

The delegation will be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar, according to presidential decree No. 355/2018 of November 2.

The delegation includes Deputy Director and Head of the New Challenges and Threats Division of the Secretariat of Ukraine's National Authority for the Implementation of the Convention of the International Security Department of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry Oleksandr Kapustin (deputy head of the delegation) and Ukraine's Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Vsevolod Chentsov (deputy head of the delegation), etc.

The 23rd session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Convention will be held in The Hague (Kingdom of the Netherlands) on November 19-20, and the Fourth Special Session of the Conference (also in The Hague) on November 21-30.
