Ukrainians Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko have been included in the Guinness World Records as brothers who won the most boxing heavyweight world title fights, the organizers of the 56th Convention of the World Boxing Council (WBC) have said at a gala evening.

"This award is a surprise for me. Our record with Wladimir is a record of all those who supported the Klitschko brothers, who supported us and Ukraine. After all, we always defended the honor of our country," WBC Eternal Champion, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page on Monday, October 1.

The 56th WBC Convention takes place in Kyiv from October 1 to October 5. World boxing legends Lennox Lewis, Erik Morales, Evander Holyfield and other legendary boxers arrived in the Ukrainian capital. In total, about 700 participants from 166 countries came to Kyiv to participate in the convention.
