Russia's discussion of peacekeepers issue in Donbas may be indirect recognition of the problem in eastern Ukraine – Bolton
The fact of Russia's discussion of the issue of peacekeepers in Donbas may indicate that the Russian Federation recognizes the problem in the east of Ukraine, John Bolton, an advisor to the U.S. president on national security issues, has said.
The mere fact that the Russian side takes part in communicating with the deployment of UN peacekeeping forces in Donbas, may be an indirect recognition by Russia, that there are problems and they [Russia] are part of these problems," said Bolton at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday, responding to a question about whether the U.S. has evidence of the presence of Russian troops in Donbas.
