Lukashenko set to replace Belarusian govt heads

1 min read

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has demanded proposals on a government reshuffle this week due to government members' failure to meet his instructions.

"I am expecting proposals on the replacement of the government's entire leadership, everyone, from the reserves that I have made, this week. It is time we stopped staring at them while they tell us how hard their life is," Lukashenko said at the Tuesday meeting, which analyzed the fulfillment of instructions on the comprehensive development of the Orsha district.

The president's remark was quoted by the state-run news agency BelTA.
