The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is conducting an investigation into possible abuses during the purchase of infantry fighting vehicles in the Czech Republic, NABU Director Artem Sytnik has said.

"The proceedings have been launched indeed, an investigation is underway. But we saw this situation before the article [in the media], in fact it coincided – the publication of this article and the launching of these proceedings," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday, when asked whether a criminal case was opened based on the investigation of the "New Times" magazine regarding the purchase of infantry fighting vehicles in the Czech Republic, which allegedly involves Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense Serhiy Pashynsky of the People's Front.
