Foreign Minister of Albania, Ditmir Bushati, intends to visit Ukraine on February 22-23, the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has reported.

Majko noted that the intensification of bilateral cooperation is extremely urgent today, as mutual trade is growing, more and more Ukrainians are opening Albania as a tourist destination. The state minister also stressed that Albania is one of the Balkan countries that unequivocally support Ukraine in countering Russian aggression.

"He reminded that the Albanian side remains interested in exchanging visits with Ukraine at the high and highest levels, in particular, on February 22-23 the foreign minister of Albania is expected to visit Ukraine," Majko was quoted.

The minister added that since 2017 in several schools in the south of Ukraine, where a significant number of representatives of the Albanian Diaspora live, optional teaching of the Albanian language has been introduced according to a program approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, where Albanian university graduates teach it, because the relevant specialists are not trained in Ukraine.
