People's Front proposes Rada get list of criteria for Ukraine's accession to EU
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should appeal to the European Union for a list of criteria and conditions for Ukraine's accession to the EU, the People's Front faction says.
"We believe that the parliament should appeal to the European community to provide Ukraine with a list of criteria and conditions for obtaining the status of a member of the European Union, and we will implement them," the head of the People's Front faction, Maksym Burbak, said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the leaders of parliamentary factions, committees and groups in Kyiv on Monday.
In addition, the People's Front stands for the resumption of negotiations on the signing of the action plan on Ukraine's membership of NATO.
At the same time, Burbak said that the People's Front is in favor of adopting as a whole a draft law on state policy on security Ukraine's sovereignty in Donbas (No. 7163), as well as introducing a visa regime with Russia.
He also called on MPs to review a draft law on strengthening traffic safety on November 16.
