Private joint-stock company Kuznya on Rybalsky plant (Kyiv) has confirmed its readiness to cooperate with investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and oppose speculations via spreading untrue information on supplies of the Triton armored vehicles for beta tests to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

According to a posting on the website of the company on Monday, the press service said that the enterprise received the ruling of Kyiv's Solomiansky district court about NABU's access to the company's documents and at present the company has prepared all the required documents for NABU detectives.

The press service said that to avoid different speculations, the Triton-0103 armored vehicles supplied in 2015 were handed to the customer for beta test in line with the current legislation.

"Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 345 [dated February 25, 2015 on the procedure for supply of weapons and military equipment and special equipment in a special period, in emergency conditions and carrying out the ATO] involves the purchase of special equipment that has not yet been accepted for service, but is transferred for beta test, which was carried out," the press service said.

The press service said that the set of delivered armored vehicles included: combat module with a fire control system, an external communication and data transmission system, a ground reconnaissance complex Jeb, and other additional equipment. The cost of this armored vehicle in the specified configuration on the global arms market starts from $ 1.5 million, which is several times higher than the actual cost of the Triton armored vehicles delivered to the State Border Guard Service," the press service said.

The private joint-stock company said that the company also carried out the necessary maintenance of the delivered armored vehicles and timely carried out the necessary repairs.

"According to the information available, armored vehicles are properly used by the State Border Guard Service," the press service said, adding that the Triton armored vehicle underwent departmental tests not only for the needs of the State Border Guard Service, but also for the needs of the National Guard and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
