So-called deputy DPR defense minister runs over Russian soldier at inspection

Ukraine's Main Directorate of Military Intelligence has reported an increase of criminal activities against the local population by Russian occupation forces during celebrations marking Day of Miners in temporarily occupied areas of Donbas. The transgressions included flagrant violations of military discipline, leading to self-inflicted casualties.

"The so-called deputy defense minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in charge of supplies inspected units attached to Russia's 1st Army Corps (Donetsk). The event coincided with the death of a Russian soldier, who was crushed," the directorate said on its Facebook page on Tuesday.

In addition, a drunken soldier attached to the 1st autonomous rifle brigade (Kalmiusskoye) of the 1st Army Corps stole an Opel Vectra sedan belonging to a civilian and crashed into a bus stop, injuring two persons.

Ukrainian military intelligence also reported a fight that broke out between local residents and 1st Army Corps soldiers in Shakhtarsk during events marking Day of Miners.
