Ukraine's Anti-monopoly Committee (AMC) is studying adherence by regional officials to legislation regulating economic competition in retail trade of insulin products under the aegis of the state program for regulating insulin prices, as well as under the Affordable Medicines program.

According to an AMC press release, the committee is asking participants to fill out a questionnaire posted to AMC's website.

AMC is calling on all participants to fill out the questionnaire in order for it to better study the situation. It adds that the programs have been designed to attract as large a pharmacy pool as possible.

"At the same time information from some regions is arriving about artificial complications involved in participating in the Affordable Medicines state program," the press service said.

In addition, the AMC says conducting the pilot project with insulin products has not received the requisite information support from Ukraine's Health Ministry.
