Poroshenko additionally declares income of nearly UAH 2 mln as interest on deposits in International Investment Bank

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has introduced changes into his electronic declaration on the website of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention stating he had additional income of UAH 1,928,594 as interest on deposits in PJSC International Investment Bank in 2015.

Earlier in his e-declaration, Poroshenko listed this bank among more than 100 legal entities, the ultimate beneficiary of which he is.

According to this document, the president's income at his main place of work, the State Administrative Department, stood at UAH 121,054 in 2015.

During the same year, he earned UAH 12,375,404 as interest on deposits at the International Investment Bank, UAH 984,834 as investment revenue on domestic governmental bonds, UAH 45,938,404 as exchange difference on the value of domestic governmental bonds in their redemption and UAH 2,742,123 as exchange difference on investment revenue in the redemption of domestic governmental bonds.

The chief of state had $26,324,870, EUR 14,372 and UAH 540,478 in his accounts at the International Investment Bank, and his wife had UAH 71,146 and EUR 8,943 in her accounts at the same bank.

In addition, the president declared his contribution of UAH 8.19 million to the non-diversified corporate investment fund, Prime Assets Capital. He lent UAH 1.111 million and $3.85 million to third persons in 2015.

According to the declaration, the chief of state had UAH 900,000 and $60,000 in cash.

Poroshenko declared UAH 159,878,738 spent on properties and securities as his biggest expense in 2015. He also spent money on the lease of vehicles (UAH 480,000) and acquisition of art (UAH 209,792). His utility (gas and electricity) bills stood at UAH 571,387.
