Declaration: OSCE PA demands unhindered access to occupied territories of Ukraine

OSCE Parliamentary Assembly demands granting all international and humanitarian organizations immediate access to the Ukrainian territories currently under occupation as well as to guarantee the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) unhindered access to all illegally detained Ukrainian citizens.

"OSCE Parliamentary Assembly reiterates the need to grant all international and humanitarian organizations immediate access to the territories currently under occupation in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as to guarantee the ICRC unhindered access to all illegally detained Ukrainian citizens," reads Tbilisi Declaration manifested on the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly site.

OSCE Parliamentary Assembly also calls on the Russian Federation to take practical steps to implement the resolution of the abducted and illegally detained Ukrainian citizens in the Russian Federation.

"OSCE Parliamentary Assembly urges the Russian Federation to abide fully by its international obligations and the OSCE principles and commitments, in particular the Helsinki Final Act, and to take practical steps to implement the OSCE PA resolutions on Clear, Gross and Uncorrected Violations of Helsinki Principles by the Russian Federation and the Continuation of Clear, Gross and Uncorrected Violations of OSCE Commitments and International Norms by the Russian Federation, as well as on Abducted and Illegally Detained Ukrainian Citizens in the Russian Federation," the 32d item of Tbilisi Declaration says.
