Council of doctors says Savchenko's hospitalization not necessary

A health check on Ukrainian servicewoman Nadia Savchenko convicted in Russia has not revealed any critical changes in her condition; she can stay in custody under medical surveillance, the press bureau of the Federal Penitentiary Service has said.

"Having performed the check and clinical instrumental tests, the council of doctors assessed Savchenko's health as satisfactory and said she did not need hospitalization," said the report seen by Interfax on Tuesday.
