Militants of the self-proclaimed Donetsk (DPR) and Luhansk (LPR) People's Republics have continued to carry out strikes against Ukrainian military positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, the press center of the staff of Kyiv's army operation in eastern Ukraine said on its Facebook on Tuesday morning.

Militants "continue to occasionally violate the conditions of the ceasefire," the press center said.

According to Kyiv, militants continued to fire small arms, grenade launchers and large-caliber submachine guns near Pisky and Opytne, as well as "fired an 82mm mortar" on Pisky.

In addition to that, militants' units randomly fired small arms on Ukrainian army positions in the vicinity of Shumy, Kodema and Mayorsk, located to the north of Horlivka, the press center said.

Late on Monday evening, militants fired grenade launchers and large-caliber submachine guns targeting Ukrainian military positions near Luhanske, the press center said.

The Ukrainian army operation staff also "recorded" a grenade launcher strike targeting Ukrainian military positions in the vicinity of Chermalyk near the city of Mariupol.

A brief armed clash with a group of up to 15 militants occurred near the village of Zaitseve on Monday evening, the press center said.

All in all, the staff has "recorded" 33 ceasefire breaches by the militants in the past 24 hours.
