Oligarch Kolomoisky claims confidential agreement with president, prime minister of Ukraine on mutual guarantees
Ihor Kolomoisky, Ukrainian businessman and former head of the D n i propetrovsk Regional Administration, said there is a confidential agreement between him, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk on mutual guarantees.
"The agreement is a general framework understanding of what will be and what will not be. Then I filed my resignation. Generally, everything went well. A draft was drawn up, on the basis of which a major agreement was then signed," he said in an interview with
LB.ua publication.
Kolomoisky said it's "a roadmap on the basis of which there is a verbal agreement and a verbal understanding." "Guarantees have been provided by [presidential administration chief Bor y s] Lozhkin and [Interior Minister Arsen] Avakov. The agreement was signed by two parties: Poroshenko and Yatseniuk on one side and Kolomoisky and [businessman Hennadiy] Bo h ol i ubov on the other. And Lozhkin, Avakov, [NSDC Secretary Oleksandr] Turchynov are bearers of the agreement standard. That is, they cannot say that something took place and that something didn't take place," the businessman said.
He said some provisions of this confidential agreement have not been fulfilled.
"The agreement is divided into two major parts. There are economic things, information [issues], and there are personal issues. I wanted the people whom I invited to work, to whom I was a moral authority, to be safe," Kolomoisky said.
The businessman specified that the long-term agreements did not touch Priva tB ank and Ukrnafta's debt obligations.
He also said there is "a provisional document" without any signatures, with which the lawyers for former Ukrnafta director Oleksandr Lazorko, who has been put on the wanted list, will be familiarized in order to achieve political asylum for him in the UK.
