Ukrainian, German foreign ministers discuss Russia's failure to meet its commitments

Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Pavlo Klimkin and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier have noted Russia's failure to meet its commitments made in October at a summit in the Normandy format.

"During the conversation, Pavlo Klimkin and Frank-Walter Steinmeier talked about the failure of Russia to meet any of its commitments made at the last summit in Normandy format, which was held in early October: a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of heavy weapons, the withdrawal of all foreign troops and mercenaries from Donbas, the disarmament of all illegal armed groups and the establishment of a security zone along the Ukrainian-Russian border under the constant monitoring by the OSCE," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
