Ukroboronprom: deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and U.S. in defense area boosts security of two countries

Deepening of cooperation between defense companies of Ukraine and the U.S. boosts security of the two countries, Deputy Head of the Ukroboronprom State Concern Denys Hurak has said.
The press service of the state concern reported that the message was presented by the official representative of the Ukroboronprom at the Ukraine-U.S. forum held in Washington on September 25.
In the conditions of Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine the county continues being security donor in Europe, Hurak said.
"Unlike southern neighbors of Europe, Ukraine finds adequate responses to modern challenges," he said.
"One of the responses is the provision of the security and defense sector of Ukraine with modern weapons made by the Ukroboronprom State Concern," he said.
"We still need aid – experience and technologies of western companies," he said.
"Our strategy for the future is the creation of sector associations in the defense area – vertically integrated research and industrial structures on the corporate basis," he said.
"The important task for us is the attraction of foreign investment, including U.S. investment, in our defense sector," he said.
