Putin not sure he will again run for presidency

Russian President Vladimir Putin is not sure of the need to use his right to again run for Russian presidency.

"The period of my service will depend on two conditions. Firstly, of course, there are rules stipulated by the Constitution, and I surely will not infringe them. But I am not sure whether I should take full advantage of these constitutional rights," Putin said in an interview ahead of his visit to the 70th session of the UN General Assembly that will be shown by the CBS and PBS TV channels.

"It will depend on the specific situation in the country, in the world and my own feelings about it," he said.

Asked what Russia he would like his legacy to be, Putin said that it "should be an effective and competitive state with a sustainable economy, developed social and political system flexible to changes domestically and globally."

"It is my greatest desire, I want the people here to be happy and I want our partners around the world to seek to develop relations with Russia," he said.
