U.S. to continue helping Ukraine to counteract aggression, restore country's territorial integrity
During the official visit to Washington Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak met with Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs Rose Gottemoeller. The parties discussed the development of Ukrainian-American relations in political and military-political areas, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported" on Friday morning.
"U.S. Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs will provide further political support and practical help to Ukraine to ensure that the aggression is repelled and Ukraine's territorial integrity is restored, reads the statement.
The parties also discussed measures on improving the work of the joint Ukrainian-American commission on coordination of joint efforts for the peace.
