President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has invited Polish President Andrzej Duda to visit Kyiv, meanwhile, Poroshenko himself will pay an official visit to Poland, a press service of Polish president reported.

According to the report, the first meeting of the leaders of two states on the sidelines of UN General Assembly in New York is expected in the end of September.

A consultative committee's work of two states will also resume.

However, the precise dates of the leaders' visits are not informed.

As reported, on September 4 Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Polish special presidential envoy and State Secretary Krzysztof Szczerski discussed a roadmap of contacts between the two leaders.

"The development of our relations will make the countries stronger and will enhance the level of confidence," Poroshenko said.

Szczerski reaffirmed the Polish president's unwavering position on continuing strategic partnership between the two countries.
