Yarosh called against reacting to media reports of actions taken by Right Sector to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.

The leadership of Right Sector is working with the Anti-Terrorist Centre of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to stabilize the situation in Mukacheve, Zakarpattia region, Right Sector leader and independent MP Dmytro Yarosh has said.

"Together with the leadership of the Anti-Terrorist Centre we are working to stabilize the situation," he wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.

Yarosh called against reacting to media reports of actions taken by Right Sector to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.

"I am asking you to ignore fake reports, which are disseminated to discredit Right Sector and provoke Ukrainians to shed blood," he said.

According to earlier reports, a shootout between people close to Ukrainian parliamentarian Mykhailo Lanio, local police officers, and Right Sector members, who later refused to lay down their weapons and barricaded themselves in a dacha settlement near Mukacheve, occurred in Mukacheve on July 11.

On Monday morning, SBU top official Vasyl Hrytsak told Censor.NET that the special service guarantees a fair investigation if all Right Sector members involved in the events in Mukacheve, Transcarpathia region, lay down their weapons and begin cooperating with the authorities.
