German government is going to provide its assistance in promotion of the reforms and on combating corruption in Ukraine, German Ambassador to Ukraine Christof Weil said.

During the festivities on occasion of Day of Europe in Kyiv on Saturday, he said his country's leadership would help Ukrainian colleagues to advance very painful, but so necessary reforms.

In particular, he said Germany would do its best to help the Ukrainian state to root out corruption.
