Klimkin to take part in EU-Ukraine-Russia consultations in Brussels

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin will make a working trip to Brussels on May 17-19.

The minister is to be engaged in the EU-Ukraine-Russia ministerial meeting on the trade section of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

Besides, the Ukrainian foreign negotiator will attend the meeting of the Informal Group of Friends of European Ukraine at the European Parliament.

Moreover, participation in the 125th session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe is also on minister's agenda.

In addition, Klimkin is expected to hold bilateral meeting with European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmstrom, and European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramopoulos.

Also, Ukraine and EU are to coordinate their actions ahead of the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga, the ministry said.
