A Ukrainian army serviceman has been injured in the town of Schastia in the Luhansk region, Luhansk region military-civilian administration head Hennadiy Moskal has said.

"The militants again put the town of Schastia under the fire of automatic grenade launchers and small arms last night [at 11:05 p.m.]. They were firing on our roadblocks on the town outskirts from the western bank of the Siversky Donets River occupied by the militants. Homes and infrastructures were spared but a 28-year-old serviceman suffered an injury. He is staying at a district hospital," Moskal's press service wrote on Tuesday.

The hostilities went on in Stanytsia Luhanska and Troitske in the Popasna district. There were shootouts by use of automatic weapons, grenade launchers and mortars, the report said, adding that information about possible casualties and damaged infrastructure was unavailable at the moment.
