Another demonstration was held on the site of the March 16 road accident in Kostiantynivka on Tuesday night with destabilization purposes, Donetsk region police chief Viacheslav Abroskin said.

"My deputy, Police Col. Serhiy Kniazev, and I visited the site and spoke with the people. The people left. I told them once again that the police were looking into yesterday's mass disturbances and the punishment of the organizers and activists was unavoidable," Abroskin wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the Kramatorsk City Court ordered the arrest of two servicemen who caused the road accident.

A road accident, involving a combat vehicle, occurred in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, on March 16. As a result of the accident, a woman was knocked down along with her two children: an eight-year-old girl was killed instantly, the mother and her second child were hospitalized. The accident sparked "mass riots" which continued throughout the night, according to the Donetsk regional authorities.

Oleksandr Kikhtenko, head of the Donetsk region military-civilian administration, said on Tuesday they had identified persons behind the Kostiantynivka protests. "The organizers who incited people to illegal actions and turned vehicles upside down have been identified. These people are identified and will be detained shortly. They are local residents, mostly young people aged from 18 to 25," Kikhtenko said.

The Ukrainian General Staff press service said that the serviceman who was at the wheel of the vehicle that knocked down and killed a girl in Kostiantynivka was drunk.
