State Saving Bank of Ukraine ( Oschadbank, Kyiv) has denied cooperation of some its departments located on the rebel-controlled territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions with rebels.

"Top managers of the branch of Donetsk regional department of Oschadbank never cooperated with militants and it will never happen," the state bank said.

According to the bank's statement, media reports that in some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions one of the departments of Oschadbank in Donetsk carries out financial transactions with the participation of militants are an information attack on the bank.

"No employee has the right to carry out payment transactions described in the article without agreeing them with the top managers of the branch. We pay attention to the fact that over the whole period of the ATO [counterterrorist operation], there were no incidents at the said department and other departments, and financial monitoring confirms this," reads the statement.

The bank said that cash is not brought to the territory which is not under control of Ukrainian authorities.
