U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will visit Ukraine in early February as a leg of her European tour, the U.S. Department of State reports.

Nuland will travel to Germany, Greece, Cyprus, the Czech Republic and Ukraine on January 31 - February 6.

"In Kyiv, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with government officials, opposition leaders, civil society and business leaders to encourage agreements on a new government and plan of action that can put Ukraine back on track toward fulfilling the aspirations of the Ukrainian people for democracy, respect for human rights, European integration and economic growth," the report runs.

The date of Nuland's visit to Kyiv is not indicated. Probably, it will be paid after the visit to the Czech Republic (on February 5).
