The Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) and Khreschatyk subway stations in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, have been closed for the third time over the past 24 hours after police received an anonymous phone call at around 0900 claiming a bomb threat, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

Police are working at the sites.

The Maidan Nezalezhnosti and Khreschatyk subway stations remain open only for exiting passengers. Passengers are being evacuated from them.
