A number of flights have been delayed and some flights have been cancelled at Kyiv International Airport as of 1405 on Saturday due to heavy fog.

According to the online timetable of the airport, arriving flights from Kutaisi and Treviso have been cancelled, whereas three flights from Donetsk, as well as flights from Kharkiv, Luhansk, Lubeck, Sofia and Dortmund, are being delayed.

Departing flights to Odesa, Sofia, Girona and Antalya are being delayed, whereas flights to Kutaisi, Treviso and three flights to Moscow have been cancelled.

Passengers of two flights cancelled by Wizz Air Ukraine blocked check-in for the company's other flights at Kyiv International Airport on Saturday, demanding that they be sent in the first place.

The passengers were asked to leave the plane (in which they stayed for two hours), told that the flights had been cancelled and promised that they will be sent on other flights.
