CEC delivers extra 1,628 ballots for foreign polling stations to Ukraine's Foreign Ministry

Kyiv, October 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Central Election Commission has delivered to the Foreign Ministry an extra 1,628 ballots for voting at foreign polling stations.

The corresponding protocol was signed at the sitting of the Central Election Commission on Thursday.

Member of the Central Election Commission Yuriy Danylevsky reported that in the process of specifying the lists of voters it was revealed that the number of voters had grown at some elections stations, and there was a necessity to print additional ballots.

As reported, on October 20, the CEC passed to Foreign Ministry of Ukraine 423,304 ballots for foreign polling stations. According to the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the electors at the foreign polling stations will vote only for party lists. Since the Sobor party was removed from the register of parties after the ballots were printed, a stamp reading 'Dropped out' is to be put opposite its name.
