Ministry of Veterans initiates dismissal of Dpty Minister Velychko-Tryfoniuk

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine initiated the dismissal of Ruslana Velychko-Tryfoniuk from the post of Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine for European Integration.
"We officially inform you. On January 6, information was made public on social networks and the media regarding unethical behavior regarding a civil servant in the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. The ministry categorically condemns behavior that humiliates the honor and dignity of a war veteran or any person, regardless of age, gender, nationality, social status, etc., and no circumstances can be an excuse. Each employer, regardless of the form of ownership, must create appropriate conditions for the reintegration of a veteran in the workplace," the ministry said in a statement on Facebook.
It is noted that the leadership of the Ministry of Veterans has ordered an internal investigation to identify the facts and circumstances specified in the published information.
"We would like to inform you separately that documents have been sent to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to dismiss Ruslana Velychko-Tryfoniuk from the post of Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine for European Integration," the department said.
Earlier, veteran and former employee of the Ministry of Veterans Yevhen Shybalov spoke on his Facebook page about the derogatory attitude towards him in the ministry.
"Why did I resign from the Ministry of Veterans? It is simple. There were big difficulties with compliance with clause 1 of Part 1 of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine On civil service. This is the article stating 'every civil servant has the right to respect for his dignity," he wrote, and cited a number of offensive statements that were made against him.
Shybalov himself did not name the official, but social networks suggested that he was talking about Deputy Minister of Veterans Velychko-Tryfoniuk.
