Zelenskyy meets MFA, Defense Ministry, GUR to address cooperation with NATO on strengthening security in region

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on Thursday with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) regarding cooperation with NATO in strengthening security in the region.

"I had a long meeting with our foreign affairs specialists – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the military, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Office [of the President] regarding our cooperation with NATO in general, with the Alliance and also with our neighbors in the region who are NATO members. It is obvious that together we can ensure more security and stability in our region and all of Europe," he said in a video address.

The head of state emphasized that "we need to turn this obviousness into practical steps of how we can cooperate to ensure real security for each other."

"Today we discussed our joint capabilities in protecting against Russian missile and drone strikes. We are working on implementation. Thank you to everyone who helps," Zelenskyy said.
