Ukraine hits Russia's Morozovsk airfield, oil depots in Belgorod, Kursk, Rostov regions
The Ukrainian defense forces attacked the Morozovsk military airfield in Russia's Rostov region last night, hitting ammunition depots where, among other projectiles, guided air bombs were stored, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Saturday morning.
"Last night, the defense forces attacked the Morozovsk airfield (Rostov region, Russia). Strikes were recorded at the ammunition depots where, in particular, guided air bombs were stored," it said on the Telegram channel.
According to the message, the information on the destroyed enemy air defenses and aircraft is yet to be updated.
"The task was carried out by efforts and means of the Security Service of Ukraine and in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the General Staff said.
The Ukrainian defense forces also attacked several oil depots and oil and lubricant storage facilities of the occupiers in Belgorod, Kursk, and Rostov regions. Reportedly, at least two tanks with petroleum products went on fire after the strikes.
