The North Atlantic Alliance, commenting on fragments of a Russian drone found in Romania, said they had no information about a "intentional attack" on NATO territory, but called such actions "irresponsible and potentially dangerous," the Reuters news agency reports.

"While NATO has no information indicating any intentional attack by Russia against Allied territory, these acts are irresponsible and potentially dangerous", Reuters quoted NATO spokesperson’s statement as saying.

The day before, Romania raised F-16 fighter jets due to the Russian attack on southern Ukraine using Shaheds. Specialists were also sent to check the area around the village of Plauru opposite Izmail, as drone debris could fall there.

The Romanian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the discovery of fragments of the Russian drone Geran1/2 near the village of Plauru on the banks of the Danube, opposite the town of Izmail, which was attacked for the second night in a row.
