Poland wants to achieve bilateral agreement on rules for movement of goods with Ukraine

The European Commission has agreed to bilateral agreement between Poland and Ukraine on rules related to the movement of goods, including agricultural products, said Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Czesław Siekierski.

"We want to achieve bilateral agreement on the rules related to the movement of goods, including agricultural products. We have some agreement on this from the European Commission," the Polish ministry quoted him as saying from a press conference at the Agrotech exhibition.

Siekierski said that a meeting with the Ukrainian side, where this issue will be discussed, will take place on Monday, and Polish Minister of Economic Development and Technology Krzysztof Hetman will also take part in it.

As reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the beginning of the week announced a meeting of the joint intergovernmental Ukrainian-Polish commission on trade and economic cooperation on March 11.
