With the support of the Japanese government, Ukraine is successfully implementing the Rapid Recovery Program's Phase 1 and Phase 2, the Rapid Recovery and Reconstruction Project.

As part of Phase 1 and Phase 2, important special equipment and machinery are already being transferred for the needs of the energy, transport, agricultural, medical, educational sectors, destruction waste management, drainage, water supply and mine clearance.

The Rapid Recovery and Reconstruction Project has successfully implemented rapid impact projects such as the Demolition Waste Management Pilot and Heat Pump Pilot to focus efforts on areas of greatest need.

The corresponding agreements were signed in Japan by Deputy Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine for European Integration Anna Yurchenko.
