Ukraine intends to attract EUR 200 mln in grants from France for recovery, restoration of infrastructure

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the attraction of EUR 200 million in grant funds from France for recovery and restoration of critical infrastructure.

As Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on his Telegram channel, the decision adopted at a government meeting on Tuesday approved a draft grant agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France on promoting the restoration and support of critical infrastructure and priority sectors of the Ukrainian economy.

The agreement provides for the attraction of EUR 200 million in grants from the French government. They will be used for recovery and restoration of critical infrastructure in sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, water supply and sanitation, waste treatment, mine clearance and digital technologies.
