Groysman requires ministers to coordinate any communication with Russia
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has instructed ministers to coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine any contacts with the Russian Federation and not to go beyond the given directives.
"I want to note for all colleagues of ministers: firstly, you must immediately react to such things, and secondly, none of you have a mandate to conduct any talks with the country-aggressor and our enemy. We didn't attack them, they attacked us. But they will regret this for a very long time. All such things of provocative requests and the rest should be coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and you should act only within the bounds of those directives and mandates that the government provides," Groysman said at the meeting of the government on Wednesday.
The prime minister also instructed the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine to prepare more stringent regulatory requirements on this issue for Cabinet members.
