The Ukrainian industry of automobile roads is ready for work during several years for a total of UAH 50 billion.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) Slawomir Nowak said this at a government meeting.

"Over the past 11 months we've conducted 2,500 procurement procedures for UAH 54 billion. This means that the industry is ready to perform the amount of work for a total of UAH 50-54 billion, certainly not for one year, but it is an obvious sign that the building machine began to work. And I am confident that next year it will work even better, faster," he said.

Nowak noted Ukraine plans this year to conduct the largest amount of road repairs - up to 2,000 km.

As reported, the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine intends in 2018 to fully pay off debts to contractors for the previous years for the work performed.
