Groysman mentions UAH 2.4 mln, $870,000, EUR 460,000 in cash in e-declaration

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has filed his e-declaration and declared UAH 2.4 million, $870,000 and EUR 460,000 in cash.

"Today I have finished filling in e-declaration. As I said before, it was not difficult for me, as in the past 10 years I file declarations every year at various posts: first as Vinnytsia Mayor, then as deputy prime minister and speaker," he said on Facebook on Wednesday.

Groysman said that his declarations for the previous years are available. They contain income and property that he mainly bought as a businessman before 2006 – before coming to power.

"This property and my corporate rights brought the main income to me and my family along with income from business of my wife – from UAH 1 million every year. Thanks to this, as of December 31, 2015, I and my family have considerable savings, including bank account savings. According to the new requirements of legislation, this is reflected in the declaration I filed today," Groysman said.

The prime minister declared two apartments, two houses and four land parcels, 20 works of art (watches and jewelry).

In addition, he has a deposit of UAH 2.111 million in Credit Agricole Bank, UAH 21,775 and EUR 16,200 in PrivatBank and UAH 3,499 in Prominvestbank.

His wife declared UAH 1.6 million and $372,000 in cash and UAH 193,549 on a deposit account at PrivatBank.
