Health Ministry's system expenses to total UAH 46.8 bln – national budget
Health Ministry national expense in 2015 will total UAH 46.752 billion, including UAH 46.623 billion allocated from the national budget’s general fund.
According to the law on the 2015 national budget, medicine subvention from the national budget to local budgets will total UAH 46.466 billion.
The subvention from the national budget to local budgets to buy consumables for healthcare organizations and medicines for inhalational anesthesia will amount to UAH 18.973 million, and the subvention to buy drugs and medical products for emergency services will amount to UAH 137.993 million.
The national budget foresees the provision of UAH 129.739 in subvention from the special fund of the national budget to reform the healthcare system, and implement the Serving People Improving Health Project jointly with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
The 2015 national budget also foresees the allocation of UAH 10.085 billion; including UAH 8.825 billion from the budget’s general fund to finance the ministry's operation. In particular, UAH 25.952 million will be spent on the healthcare system’s financial management, UAH 69.353 million on research, UAH 2.343 billion on the training of doctors and pharmacists, UAH 304.342 million on treating children with tuberculosis in sanatoriums, and UAH 322.589 million on fulfilling debt liabilities on credits raised by Ukrmedpostach state enterprise.
The budget will provide UAH 51.494 million for treatment abroad in 2015, UAH 3.291 billion to realize state medical programs, UAH 19.336 million for the National Scientific Medical Library, UAH 11.154 million for rehabilitation of patients with infantile cerebral paralysis in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation, and UAH 500 million for the construction of a diagnostic center at the Okhmatdyt national children's specialist hospital in Kyiv.
