Cabinet to transfer Donetsk Railways property in Ukraine-controlled areas to Prydniprovska and Pivdenna railways management

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has ordered the transfer of property belonging to structural divisions of Donetsk Railways, located in settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk regions which are under Ukrainian control, to Prydniprovska Railways and Pivdenna Railways.

The decision is stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 1284-r of December 29, 2014.

The Infrastructure Ministry and the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) were instructed to transfer the property to Prydniprovska Railways and Pivdenna Railways after stocktaking state property registered in Donetsk Railways' divisions' balance sheets.

The cabinet also ordered that territorial borders be established for Prydniprovska, Pivdenna and Donetsk Railways, until the end of the antiterrorist operation (ATO).

The Infrastructure Ministry and Ukrzaliznytsia, with the agreement of the Security Service of Ukraine, were instructed to set the coordinates of the borders separating the Prydniprovska, Pivdenna and Donetsk Railways areas.

Property belonging to Donetsk Railways which will be transferred to Prydniprovska Railways includes Krasnoarmiysk, Volnovakha, Mariupol wagon depots, Volnovakha, Mariupol-port, Krasnoarmiysk stations, Volnovakha and Krasnoarmiysk locomotive depots, Avdiyivka Reinforce Concrete and Construction Details Plant, Mariupol construction and assembly production division, and Krasnoarmiysk alarm and communications division.

Property belonging to Donetsk Railways which will be transferred to Pivdenna Railways includes Debaltseve track repair and mechanical plant, Popasna wagon depot, Debaltseve-Sortuvalne, Krasny Lyman, Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, Debaltseve station, Svatove motor and wagon depot separate division, Debaltseve-Pasazhyrske, Debaltseve-Sortuvalne locomotive depots, Sloviansk, Popasna, Krasny Lyman, Debaltseve station separate division, and Debaltseve-Sortuvalne, Kramatorsk, Krasny Lyman and Popasna stations.
