Maximus Air from UAE plans to expand cooperation with Antonov State Enterprise
Maximus Air (the United Arab Emirates) has confirmed its readiness to expand cooperation with the leading Ukrainian designer and producer of aircraft – Antonov State Enterprise (Kyiv), the press service of the state enterprise has reported.
The press service said that the UAE airline announced its plans in a letter sent to Antonov President and Chief Designer Dmytro Kiva.
The press service said that Maximus Air Board Chairman Mohamed Al Qassimi expressed a high opinion of the work of the Antonov's team for the quick and good servicing of An-124-100 Ruslan heavy transport aircraft of the UAE airline.
"Thanks to the high level of cooperation between our companies, all obstacles and difficulties were overcome, and our aircraft flew from the airfield of your enterprise on the exact date set by us in the contract. Such achievements are important anyway, but taking into account the situation in Ukraine, this was amazing work," the press service said.
"We highly appreciate cooperation based on such standards, especially in these difficult times. We're glad to inform you that we're interested in expansion of cooperation with your highly-regarded organization," he said.
Maximus Airlines Chairman and Co-Chairman of Maximus Air Vamid Al Kabi said that "reliable business relations between our companies are both important for Ukraine and the UAE."
The press service said that the work carried out for Maximus Air included assessment of the technical state of the aircraft and its systems to gradually increase the service life of the aircraft and technical servicing of the aircraft.
