Route of Intercity+ train Kyiv-Dnipropetrovsk to extend up to Zaporizhia on May 26

The route of the Intercity+ train that now is running between Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, after the introduction of the new timetable of trains for 2013-2014 (from May 26, 2013), will be extended to Zaporizhia, reads a press release of Ukrzaliznytsia referring to Director of the Ukrainian Railway High-Speed Company Leonid Loboiko.

The company also plans to schedule extra stops of Intercity+ trains at Darnytsia station.

Moreover, it is planned that taxis will transfer passengers from Darnytsia station to Boryspil international airport.

"In this case each passenger saves at minimum an hour transferring from the railway station to the airport," the press release quotes Loboiko as saying.

Ukrainian Railway High-Speed Company is holding active talks with transport infrastructure department of Kyiv City State Administration and Boryspil airport regarding the introduction of this transfer.

In addition, the railway company elaborates and soon will introduce its own bonus system called "Intercity bonus,: which will save passengers money if they often travel by Intercity and Intercity+ trains.

"Soon the passengers of high-speed trains will be able to use other additional services, such as ordering a taxi or renting a car," said the press release.
